Our Hall on West Quay Road in Poole is available for hire. A great venue for events based in the heart of Poole. It is located within a 5 minute walk from Poole Train station, 10 minute walk from the bus station and 5 minute walk to Poole Quay for ferries to Brownsea Island. We also welcome Scout Groups for overnight stays (‘floor for the night’).
We recommend the hall will comfortably hold up to 40 people for daytime events (depending on seating arrangement & maximum hall occupancy for safety reasons is 60 people). For Scout Groups staying overnight maximum capacity is 30 people. Each hire comes with the following facilities:
- Fully equipped kitchen with industrial gas range cooker
- Centrally heated hall
- Around 12x chairs, 10x tables & 16x benches
- Ceiling mounted projector & wall speakers (speakers are not suited to music for parties, hirers will need to provide their own music system for this).
- Wifi Internet Access
- 3x toilets & 1x separate disabled/wheelchair accessible toilet
- 2x changing rooms & 2x showers
- Parking for 2 cars available at the front of the hall. (Futher parking available at Asda car park or on other local roads/car parks).
- For Scout Groups staying overnight there are a few separate smaller areas suitable for leaders to sleep in (Main hall area suitable for up to x20-25 to sleep in. Other smaller areas suitable for following number of people: Loft area – x3, Girls changing room – x2, Leaders changing room – x2, Leaders office – x1, Stage (accessed via leaders office) – x1).
- Hall measurements: Approx 12m x 9m – the hall will fit a small/medium bouncy castle for brithday parties.
Community/Public Hire
One-off Bookings – £60 for the first three hours (minimum charge). £15 for each subsequent hour. Full day (6+ hours) £120. Please note hire times must include setup/close down time including time for cleaning. Hall hires do not include cleaning and the hall must be left in the state that you found it.
Regular Booking – We offer reduced rates for regular bookings, get in touch with us for more information.
Bouncy Castles – our hall is suitable for a small bouncy castle. Blissful Balloonz & Events are familiar with our hall and you can see their range of castles on their website here with pictures of them setup inside our hall.
Scouting Hire
Our hall is very popular for Scout Groups to hire, located in the centre of Poole, being just a few minutes walk from Poole Train Station and also just a few minutes walk from Poole Quay where ferries for Brownsea Island depart alongside the ferry terminal for the Channel Islands and France.
The below prices are for Scout Groups only.
Overnight Stays (Scouting/Guides)
For groups of 12 or less: £50 per night
For groups of 13 or more: £4 per person per night
Daytime Hire (Scouting/Guides) – £12 per hour, £25 per half day or £40 per day
