• Sea Scouts Sailing in Poole

Fun and adventure on and off the water

3rd Poole Sea Scouts proudly offers life-changing opportunities to over 160 young people across Poole, supported by a passionate team of more than 50 volunteers. From kayaking and sailing on the water to learning essential life skills, we are building confidence, resilience and a sense of adventure one experience at a time.

As one of the larger and most active groups in the Poole District, we deliver a unique, water-based Scouting programme alongside the “normal” Scouting activities in the Winter.

We are based in the heart of Poole, right next to the RNLI Headquarters and College, which gives us easy access to the water. This incredible location allows us to offer a truly authentic Sea Scouting experience in one of the most iconic maritime settings in the UK.

With seven active sections from Beavers to Scouts, there is plenty opportunity to get involved across the group.

Our Sections
