On Tuesday 15th June we are holding ‘Battlefield Live’ followed by our AGM at Butcher’s Coppice Scout Campsite in Bournemouth. Battlefield Live will start at 19:00 on the main field and finish at 20:30 with our quick AGM meeting running for approx 15 minutes afterwards. All our members and parents/guardians are invited and refreshments will be available (tea/coffee/squash and biscuits!).
What is Battlefield Live?
Battlefield Live is a digital combat experience, which uses infra-red guns so no projectiles or pain. You can choose from a variety of guns and games.
We are limited to 30 participants, available to register/pay for your space below. Cost is £7.50 (subsidised from £15!) per participant. Open to Cubs, Friday Scouts (Tuesday Scouts are doing Air Rifles/Tomahaw throwing that evening at Butcher’s Coppice already), Explorers and Parents – we’d love to have you involved!
Please note deadline for signing up is 10pm on Friday 11th June
What is the AGM?
Our AGM (Annual General Meeting) is a point to highlight successes of the last year, alongside receiving the annual report of our Execuite Committee, approve our accounts, appoint members of our Executvie Commitee.
Have you thought about joining our Comittee?
Our Execuite Committee is made up of leaders and parents. They meet 4 times per year for a couple of hours (alongside the AGM) to support the management and running of the group, making important strategic and financial decisions to help us run. If you would be interested we’re always looking for more members to join the commitee. Please contact our Chairman Mark on email@example.com for more information.
